Tasted by GrapeRover. With 18 months on French oak, this wine is still far too young to enjoy! Purple colored, medium viscosity. The still rather vicious aroma's of the Xinomavro shows some cherry, blackberry and fig. It tastes like plum, stems, green beans, oak, tobacco, ethanol, bell pepper, and a little burnt. Medium body with a somewhat coarse texture. Rather short and bitter finale. Like to have another go at it in 2014. (79 pts.) - Tasted 11/28/2012.
