The red grape variety native to Greece . Synonyms are Chondromavrouda, Chondromavroudi, Chondromavroudo and Khondromavroud. You may not use the Morphology different species (Be confused (with the confusing synonym Chondromavro) DNA but are from, Booth 2013). The late-ripening vine is susceptible to Botrytis . It provides low-acid wines with soft tannins, also known as Liastos are produced (sweet wine made from dried grapes). The variety is in the area of Kozani in the region of Macedonia (also the “wrong” Chondromavro grows) often with the varieties Moschomavro and cultured together.
