In 1993 Georges Gioulis, agronomist – oenologist (u. Bordeaux II) planted at the mountainous Klimenti of Corinth his first vineyard of Cabernet Sauvignon; one of the first certified organic vineyards in the Greek territory.
Since then, the family continues the route of the Domaine. The vinification takes place in our winery at Klimenti, considering always the cultivated variety and the “terroir” of its vineyard.
Our goal is to follow the line of low yields, low production and high quality. The wines are certified organically from the European DIO organization and the American certification USDA-NOP.
The grapes come from our own vineyards which are planted and cultivated organically; in the hilly plains behind the mountains of the winemaking region of Nemea at 800-1000 m. altitude.
The high altitude of our cultivations gives elegant aromas to our wines because of cooler growing conditions, lower grape maturation temperatures and a continuous light breeze.
The vineyard covers an area of 8 ha. The cultivated varieties are: Cabernet Sauvignon, Agiorgitiko, Roditis, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Gris, and Sauvignon Blanc.
