In 2006, we set in Pentapolis-Serres on our eco-winery the cornerstone for a new winery. It is modern with a 500 m² cellar stations for processing grapes, a bottling plant and a reception room for visitors.
The entire family lives with and for the wine, from the grandmother to granddaughter Theopoula Mitropoulou Evanthia Mitropoulou, who graduated with a degree in chemistry in Thessaloniki, the diploma and completed an additional course of study oenology in France.
Surrounded by a beautiful mountain landscape, we cultivate our grapes in organic cultivation. We use no fertilizers and no pesticides.
At the Vineyard we always feel the sea breeze, and on a clear day you can see the ancient Amphipolis and Mount Athos in the distance. Here, in Dionysus’ home, we live in the midst of a centuries-old wine tradition. This love of wine and its culture, we want to convey to our grape wine lovers.
We build on the indigenous varieties Koniaros, Asprouda Serron, Malagousia, Pamiti, Assirtiko and international varieties Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Cinsault. For their own needs, we also produce experimental wines.
Our goal is to help the grape varieties from Serres, but also our quality wines to more awareness.
