All about Patras, Peloponnese.

The Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Patras, known as PATRAIKI WINES, is a second level agricultural cooperative organization, founded in 1918 in Patras, in Achaia region. With almost 100 years of presence, Patraiki counts now 108 members (first level cooperative unions inside the borders of the old province of Patras), that is to say 8000 farmers.

Using grapes of the best varieties of the region as raw material, Patraiki Wines produces a wide range of high quality products, such as dry, semi-dry, sweet, medium-sweet, white, rose and red wines in all kinds of combinations. Besides, the company produces the internationally known dessert wines, Muscat of Patras and Mavrodaphne of Patras, which satisfy even the most demanding wine-lovers.

The modern technological equipment, the specialized staff and the long wine-making tradition have led Patraiki to win significant awards in national and international contests.

Applying the safety and health requirements of the European and Greek legislation, the requirements of the Good Manufacture Practice and those of the cooperative clients as well as the suggestions of the state audit institutions, Patraiki is nowadays considered one of the most remarkable and reliable wine manufacturer units in Greece.

Patraiki Wines owns today 2 wineries, in Antheia and Myrtos (the second one operating seasonally and subsidiarily), a bottling hall and large storage rooms (approximately 20.000 tones of stowage), covering an area of 46.500 m2.

Having the most advanced equipment, Patraiki Wines manages to sell in Greece and abroad more than 1.000.000 wine bottles and more than 200.000 PET bottles and bag-in-box packages, overcoming in total 5.000 tones annually.
