The prominent grape variety of the region is called Santameriana. This is a white grape, round in shape with a thin filmed peel and a light and gentle aroma, which produced a fairly aromatic wine.

Medium bunches with small and evenly rounded berries that turn from green to gold yellow straw colour during maturation. Harvest takes place during mid September. The grapes have good sugar content, but slightly lack acidity. Yields are low (7 to 8 tn/ha).

Nose/bouquet: Intense flavours of pears, peaches, honey and white flowers, minerality. Medium bodied with a creamy texture and an explosive mid-palate, long finish.
