Fokiano is cultivated in the islands of Samos, Ikaria, in Cyclades, Dodecanese and Peloponnese. It is a variety which is vigorous, productive, and resistant to illnesses and dryness. The grapes’ size is big, with red pigmentation. Fokiano gives red wines with rich colour and aromas. We also use it for the production of rose wines.
