Winebar/restaurant The Vineria 36 was created in the summer of 2008 in order to enhance the wine tasting in practice, offering magical wines made from indigenous (Greek) grape varieties, paired with authentic culinary delights.
Situated in the heart of the old town of Chania, Splantzia in the picturesque (Venetian style) square Rouga right next to the church of St. Peace, 17th century AD.
The truly “world” kitchen offers high quality dishes and fingerfood, using only the best of ingredients available. For instance:
– Fresh organic salads in combination with organic vegetables and fruits,
– For hot dishes we serve fresh handmade pasta, tagliatelle flavored or stuffed pasta and traditional dishes such as manti Cappadocia, all made by our enthousiastic cooks. You will also enjoy pies inspired by the Pontian cuisine, soups and other interesting dishes of the day depending on the season and based on Greek raw materials.
– As far as cold dishes you will find the best choices in fresh meats and cheeses of Greek origin, and renowned international quality products like Spanish ham in Tsoritho and Lomo, Italian Mozzarella and Prosciutto and Oriental Pastourmas, soutzouki and pastrami. All dishes are prepared in front of the customer from raw material quality.
